An artisan in an open linen shirt leans against towering rolled rugs in the Professio archive
The Archive · Campaign

Raw heritage, quietly kept.

A family house of handmade rugs. Every piece knotted by hand, every one certified, each waiting for the room it was made for.

The House of Professio

We do not make rugs to fill a floor. We keep a craft that outlives its makers, and place each piece, by hand, with the people who will keep it next.

Among the Stacks

An archive,
not a showroom.

Our rooms are lined floor to ceiling with rolled and folded pieces: silk and wool, antique and newly cut from the loom.

Collectors come for one rug and stay for an afternoon. We unroll, we tell the story of each piece, and we only part with a rug when it has found the right hands. Online, we keep that same unhurried pace.

Material Reverence

Wool from the high plateau. Silk fine enough to paint with.

Nevşehir · Cappadocia

Where the stone
keeps the silk.

Our silks are woven in Nevşehir, at the heart of Cappadocia: a land of fairy chimneys and rock-cut chapels, shaped by wind and by centuries of patient hands. The light there falls slowly, honey by day and indigo by night. You can see both in the colours.
